Now…4 months later I notice my face resuming some lines, expression lines, etc…At this point in my career…I can’t stand a line or sign of age on my face! Being in the Cosmetic / Beauty Industry image truly is everything & people come to me to feel better about themselves…it is my Moral Responsibility to look & feel amazing inside & out about myself. I consulted my Esthetician who had recently had a Fat Injection. I am open to trying anything…so I made my appointment for a Consultation with the Plastic Surgeon she had her Fat Injection with.

This plastic surgeon educated me on all my options and I in turn would like to educate you. 3 weeks after my consultation I went in and was put under Local Anestesia, fat was extracted from my buttocks using a liposuction technique. He then injected it into my nasolabial folds. A Fat Injection is a long term correction, although some of the fat cells will be naturally absorbed. The remaining fat and the enhancement achieved is considered permanent, although it will diminish naturally with age. The above reasons are why I chose to do a Fat Injection vs Botox in that area of the face. Although he did do Botox in the “Crow’s Feet” area & Forehead & enhanced the lips with some Juviderm. The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) reviews and approves pharmaceutical fillers by brand name in the same manner as drugs or medical devices.

While many women engage in Plastic Surgery & Injectable Fillers & deny it…I am an open book! If my experience can benefit someone and help & educate someone, I will be ecstatic!

The thought was placed…

The majority of my Brides opt to do a Boudoir Photo shoot before their Wedding Day, one of the many photographers I work with is highly recommended on The Knot and is extremely popular for her B-Pic Sessions. I decided to book my own B-Pic Session with the “amazing, much sought after” Julie from Jewel Photography.

I did what any girl would do…booked a serious shopping date with my best friend & started a serious gym regiment & began loving grilled chicken!  What I found was this type of experience is all about self confidence & fantasy.  I borrowed more general things from my best friend & made a few purchases from Victoria Secrets, high heels from Nordstrom & also hit TJ Maxx somewhere in between.

Day Before B-Pic Shoot…I ran 6 miles & did not injest 1 carb…which seemed to truly work and eliminate any chance of looking or feeling bloated.  Now for the glamorous details…the day before my shoot was a full day of beauty, my ultimate indulgence.   Of course I will let my secret Beauty experts be known…I had single process hair color & cut done with Lula, Premier Altier, Westchester Mall, all waxing services by Nora, Premier Altier, Westchester Mall, manni & Spa peddi at Happy Choice Nails, off North Broadway in White Plains.

My Experience…The look I was going for was “Natural ~ Bronze ~ Sexy.”  The morning of, I woke up early and proceeded to airbrush my makeup…flawless is not even the word to use to describe results achieved through airbrush application.  I was able to make sure my face foundation was airbrushed to perfectly match my body.  I completed my look with a soft bronze eye shadow, my ULTIMATE FAVORITE individual eye lashes & a BRAND NEW JKFlashy Lip Gloss which plumps lips as well:).

Julie is amazing to say the very least.  I brought the outfits & props…I actually needed help unpacking my car!  I left everything else to her…she made me feel so comfortable and guided me as well as instructed me with what exactly to do for the sexy photos.  It actually felt like I was with a close girlfriend in some respect which made the experience so much fun!  After my shoot I indulged Julie in a JKFlashy makeup experience, a pic of her may be viewed on her Facebook page…simply Gorgeous!!
